Who Is Controlling Your “Commitment” Barometer?

Who Is Controlling Your “Commitment” Barometer?

posted in: Leadership | 2

A barometer is a scientific instrument used in meteorology to measure atmospheric pressure helping to forecast short-term changes in the weather.

In this type of business many people are like barometers whose commitment is dependent on the weather around them. The key is to be the weather maker and not a barometer.

Let me ask you a question, “Is your commitment to your success and enthusiasm for Travogal dependent on the commitment and enthusiasm of your introducer, your prospects, or those in your team?”

In other words, if your introducer QUIT, would you quit?

If the next 10 prospects said, “I’m NOT INTERESTED!”, would you quit?

If your top leaders in your team quit, would you quit?

If your answer is YES, then let me share a success tip.

“As long as your commitment and enthusiasm is dependent on the commitment and enthusiasm of others you will always struggle to succeed”

The reality is you cannot control the actions of others, but you can control your own behavior, commitment, enthusiasm, and actions.

People are drawn to people who have unwavering commitment, who are 100% sold out to their goals and vision, who have unshakable faith.

If you want to ATTRACT people like that you FIRST need to exhibit these attributes!

But if you are simply a thermometer whose commitment changes according to the temperature of those around you will attract similar people and never have stability in your business.

You need to adopt an attitude that your future success is NOT dependent on any ONE person or group of people. You need to accept that other people’s commitment will waiver and people will come and go.

Let every word you utter, every post you make on social media, your body language and your attitude be a beacon to others that you are laser focused on achieving your goals and fulfilling your purpose in life, and nothing will stop you.

You will become a magnet for like-minded people who are strongly committed, self-starters, independent thinkers, have realistic expectations, and who are BIG picture focused.

Attracting these types of people is the only way to truly create passive income and provide the time freedom people desire.

Food for thought.
